We were just passing through to home, not a planned stop. We had an 18" pepperoni pizza  and it was great! Large, new york style slices that we will certainly make a special trip back for! The owner also came out to see how were, he was also behind the counter when we came to pick up the pizza. That's how you do business!

Place looks pretty cool from the inside (nice environment, nice decorations)
It gets busy fast so make sure you go in at a good time

We order a large pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni 
Pizza overall taste is a four star
Very crunchy well done crust, fresh cheese. I Wasn't a big fan of the sauce but overall it's good pizza.  Price for a large pizza and two drinks $25.85 plus tip 

Amazing customer service! That's why I added one more star. When we walked in Justin greeted us and welcomed us to sit down. He is a nice kid, always checking on our drinks. Towards the end Jesus offered us a box and boxed the rest of our pizza. Those kids were very nice and professional. They made my husband and I feel like at home. They were water boys but did such an amazing job checking on us.  

We will definitely come back and try pasta dishes next time!

I'm so glad I found this place. If you love pizza this is the place to go. When I find new pizza. I try just a slice of cheese pizza to get a base on the crust, sauce, and cheese. If they can make a good cheese pizza. Any pizza they make will be good. So good! I'll be going here from now on.

NYPD was AMAZING!!! GENUINE NY style pizza and the staff is excellent. Their customer service went above and beyond. I recommend NYPD to anyone looking for authentic NY style pizza! The decor is super fun with police and firefighter memorabilia and they offer counter service but trust me, you aren't forgotten once you take your seat!

I always going to eat here!  Friendly staff and great food.  I haven't had anything yet that I haven't truly enjoyed.  Pizza is the best in town if not the state.  Can't go wrong with garlic knots!  Pizza pockets are the real deal.  I can tell the ingredients are always fresh.  Do yourself a favor and skip that "Mellow" place and drive to Hixson and try NYPD's food.  You'll be glad you did.
