Love the classes I've taken. Equipment is in good shape. Only wish they were open on Sundays.

Actually I got the best workouts and in better shape than any other gym I've been too... the equipment is Bodybuilding focused!!! Whatever body part's you want to focus on the machine is there... its really up to you to be consistent and put in the reps!!! 100 reps on 7 machines x 2 and do 3x week for 90days your body will change... also 30-60min on cardio bike or other cardio machines, then stretching and sauna! NO EXCUSES you will be satisfied at NYSC Nwk penn station!😎🏋🖒

Decent enough equipment, but shady accounting. Also terrible hours. Not open late, not open Sunday, bad hours Saturday, supposed to open at 6am but don't count on it (writing this while yet again waiting for it to open). It's cheap and I guess you get what you pay for.

A change is coming!!! I was a member in the past and I definitely would have given this NYSC location (Newark) bad reviews for several reasons. I recently returned due to a great sign-up special and for the convenience it offered me. They have a new General Manager that has so far proven to be TOP-NOTCH. I had an issue recently and he not only fixed the problem expediently but was also very apologetic. He's extremely professional, customer service oriented and actually cares about the members. I never got that feeling from management in the past. He made me realize I made the right decision to give this gym another try. Also, the staff is very friendly and courteous. It's really worth giving this location a shot!
