The New York State Association of Counties is a bipartisan municipal association serving all 62 counties of New York State including the City of New York. Organized in 1925, NYSAC’s mission is to represent, educate and advocate for member counties.

We represent New York counties before Federal, State and Local officials on matters germane to county governments; and we inform our membership and the public at large on issues of importance to county governments.

We advocate for our 62 counties, including the City of New York, to the legislative and executive branches of government at the State and Federal levels.
