I’m giving 2 stars because I can always find some little trinket in here. Some stuff is way overpriced and I personally witnessed people that volunteer there skimming off the top of the better donations. The fact that they write the word “vintage” on everything pre 1980 even the junk. Today, though was my worst experience so far. As soon as I opened the door a foul smell hit me in the face. It was sour, hungover, cigarette, cat pee, sweaty b.o. smell and it was awful. I went in to shop anyway and as I went to the back the smell dissipated. I thought maybe it was someone walking past me out the door. But when I returned to the front desk to pay, the smell was stronger than ever. I then realized it was the man behind the counter. As he was counting up my stuff I could only mouth breathe, and he was coughing this nasty wet cough, touching my stuff, not washing hands, and it is flu season, people! I am not trying to be ugly, but the whole situation was gross. Hygiene is incredibly important. I’m not sure I will be back.

This is as inexpensive place to shop. The people are friendly and also help people in need. The clothes are clean smelling as if they were freshly laundered.

This is an excellent thrift shop directly next to the police station. They have a good selection of cloths, glassware, lamps, pottery, shoes, old CD's, etc and the best prices in town. They rely on our donations so I always take mine here rather than Goodwill with its high paid executives. The Newberg Thrift Shop is staffed by volunteers and all monies go to local benefits like the local fire, police, hospital, F.I.S.H. , etc. I like the local aspect.

Love shopping here. The shop is clean, the prices are low and the people are wonderful. All money spent here goes to the local community. Items come and go quickly, so if you see something you like you better buy it now.

As far as thrift stores go, this one is OK. The prices are good, but the selection, in general, is not that good. However, if you keep an eye out for things, you may find a gem. I found some great books and an awesome sewing machine for $25. They also have records for only 10 cents, so if you find some good ones (which I have), it's great.
