When I go to Portland I go out of my way for this place. The coffee is roasted there. The chai is a house blend I believe? Either way they are nice and get you coffee the way you actually want it!!

I've been here a number of times for coffee and occasionally for breakfast. Recently while getting breakfast with my 5-yr old, I looked at their sandwich board and was really tempted by what I saw to come for lunch. Today, my wife and I did just that. And wow...that Mediterranean Tuna Sandwich is really good! I combined it with their soup du jour - a creamy tomato basil - and an Arnold Palmer to drink. Great lunch! My wife also enjoyed the soup and an Arnold Palmer and had a Greek Salad. We will be returning to try more of their sandwiches! The only downside, the sandwiches are a little spendy.

Stopped through passing by. It was a deliberate visit. This was a favorite and a must stop for my late father's trip to the coast. My decision was not only sentimental, but culinary as well. Great coffee and will now be a tradition for me. On top of that, I would much rather support a small town business with a superior product than a megabucks chain with an inferior product.

Coffee Cottage, with its rustic charm and vibrant atmosphere, is a fundamental piece of the Newberg experience. Fair-trade coffees, fresh deli and baked goods, live music events and material from local artists. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. Or you can get together with coworkers/classmates to get things done.

DONT GET THE ESPRESSO! Now that I've said that, this place is AMAZING. They have the best scones, they have a heavenly smoothie/frap selection and the staff are super nice. It's a great spot to meet friends for a chat, has a ton of fun books that feature local authors, and the music selection is a nice mixture of oldies-but-goodies. Try this place out. They rock. Just don't get the espresso. Go to Dutch Bros for that. But everything else is delicious.
