Next door is exactly what its name implies - a casual, comfortable gathering place for neighbors to come together. Offering a wide selection of local craft beers and wine in a cozy living room setting (or - just been added - an outdoor patio!) is what we provide. We are the perfect place for a girls' night, a quiet date, a business meeting or a private party. Come on in... We'd love to meet you!

Update 09-06-2017: visited again with two friends. This place has a really unique atmosphere. I joined my friends in the back on the covered porch because a trivial pursuit game was going on in the front. My only complaint is the taste of the IPA beer. I feel like there could be some improvement in the flavors - but this is completely subjective. Also, they don't serve food except for a nacho chip? platter. They do allow for pizza delivery although one of the places turned out to be closed on Tuesdays. A little more organization of the take out food menu like keeping days / times up to date and maybe having all three on a laminated menu card for convenience. ***Again, the atmosphere of the refurbished house alone is worth a visit because there is no place quite like it in San Diego. *** It's a nice place originally it was a home and it was converted into a business so it has a special feel almost like you're in someone's living room a lot of work went into the decorations and maintaining an antique look one of my favorite things was the bathroom sink is a converted manual selling machine table and the treadle or where you spin it with your foot is still there on top is a galvanized pan with rocks in the bottom and some really cool handles.

This place has a great selection of wine and craft beer and lots of cozy spots to enjoy your drink with a group or as a couple. The wine selection varies in price starting at about $7/glass. It also has an outdoor patio. The man behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable.
