One of the most annoying realtors I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with! The first time she came to show my home my fiancee was home to let her and the potential buyers in, as we prefer to have someone in the home at all times being that we have a disabled 17month old child and it is not always so easy to pack him and take him out and about just so someone can come look at the house for 3 minutes - also we have a legal right to be in our home. We stay out of the way as much as possible. Anyway, even though the front door was obviously open, to indicate that there was someone in the house, she tried the garage code three times unsuccessfully. She acted as if she knew absolutely nothing about my home, which I found odd considering that all the realtors have detailed information on the home, and acted like she did not know that we lived here, which again, is provided information. She also seemed irritated that my fiancee was not going to be leaving the premises while she was showing the home. The entire time her and the potential buyer were here, Betty asked me questions about my property that she SHOULD HAVE KNOWN before even stepping foot onto my property such as how big is the property, what kind of heat does it have, etc... They made my fiancee feel uncomfortable because Betty and the potential buyer apparently stared at our disabled son for a long time (even though I was not here to see it I don't really see a reason my fiancee would lie about that, we aren't martyrs about our son's disability). When they went to the kennels/shed in the back yard they left all the lights on in the inside and both doors open, which I thought was inconsiderate and rude, as well as leaving all the lights on in the basement to our home. Imagine if there hadn't been someone here, electricity money doesn't grow on trees, am I right? The realtor tried to get my fiancee to let the potential buyer's husband come to our home after he got off work 6pm without and appointment and without a realtor present because she wasn't "available at that time" to escort him. He told her no, that the husband would have to make an appointment and be escorted by a realtor if he wanted to see inside our home. It was very obvious that Betty had no care or prior information about our home before coming to it, as if she were trying to desperately sell a car she were trying to get rid off. If that weren't enough, the potential buyer's husband did want to schedule an appointment for today May, 24 at 1:30-2:30 PM. We agreed to the appointment, woke up a little earlier than usual and got the house all sparkling clean as any person would, I personally even packed up my son to take him to the park so that there wouldn't be an awkward staring issues or whatever, and I left my fiancee there to let them in. Well Betty never called or showed up for the appointment. I called centralized showing to see if she was planning on turning up or not, and they left her a voicemail. 15 minutes after the one hour window of her appointment was over, we got a call saying that her and the clients "drove by earlier and decided not to come in", and that the agent thought the realtor probably should have called to tell us. We la-di-da, glad they had such a leisurely drive past out house and randomly decided not to call or show up to their appointment. So freaking rude. I threw away half of my Saturday preparing for an appointment with Betty and her clients and she didn't even have the DECENCY to treat us like dignified humans and call to tell us she wasn't coming by. I delayed my 17month olds nap so that these people could come look at our house. At least have the common courtesy to cancel a freaking appointment if you aren't coming, so we can get back to enjoying our family and day inside the comfort of our own home. This woman literally is incompetent, please use someone else, or if you're forced upon her from Berkshire Hathaway, beg for someone else.
