Amazing, unassuming little cozy spot! The owner/cook was kind and makes a mean ramen! Perfect spot for 2 for lunch or relaxed dinner. Order at the counter and find a stool kinda deal! Don’t listen to the Bostonian curmudgeons that say this place is bad! It doesn’t fit the typical Boston restaurant mold perfectly but it’s cozy and delicious all the same!
Very good ramen! The soup is tasty and not overly saltyimportant. Portion is perfect. I had additional beef topping and the owner was really generous. Great value too! Actually my friend brought me here once and I remembered to come again when I wanted something hearty. Definitely one of the best! Thank you!
I ordered the spicy miso and it was so good for this rainy day. Even with the chef owner? operating the entire restaurant alone, service was not compromised. Food was well flavored and fresh. Service was quick also. All around a solid experience and very close to state street parking.Food: 5/5
I've been to a couple Ramen places & this one is probably my favorites. Great place on a cold day. I got the spicy miso. It was a perfect balance of spice & flavor. My bf got tonkatsu & it was rich & savory. All the pork had soaked up the juice & just fell apart. Not tough at all. I WOULD leave a photo, but I ate it a little too quickly.
I ordered the Dashi Niku and it was absolutely amazing. The chef Manuel was so friendly and was very attentive. It’s also located right across the street from 75 state street parking garage, so, super convenient. I would definitely recommend stopping by.Food: 5/5
Really really good Tonkatsu ramen I’ve had in a long time! The noodle was perfect and the broth was perfect! Would give it a 5 star if they had more space to sit down. They they only had 5-6 window bar chair inside a couple of tables out side. Didn’t try the other ramen but I definitely recommend the Tonkatsu if your around the area.
Very good ramen for a great price! We sat in the tiki restaurant and were able to order ramen. It felt strange to eat ramen in a tiki restaurant but the food was great Food: 5/5
I was visiting Boston for the weekend and knew that I wanted to try some ramen - so happy I decided to stop in here! Loved the spicy miso and the owner I believe? was so friendly and patient with my large group of family. Didn’t catch his name, but great service :Food: 5/5
Vegetarian ramen can be hard to come by and this place even has a few options! It was wonderful and had some yummy sake tooService: 5/5
This was a decent bowl of tonkatsu ramen and it came out very fast. I enjoyed the broth as it certainly was fatty and gelatinous for a good mouth feel. The pork was also a nice mixture of meat and silk fat that melts due to the thin slicing. I just didn't care for the noodle selection and the soft boiled egg was served cold. It's worth a shot if you need a fix but I wouldn't go out of my way to try.
