I'm absolutely disappointed with Nine Mile west. My rating is solely because of the poor customer service. The food is amazing. I immediately was aware it was really busy right when I walked in. Waited 5 minutes before even being greeted by a hostess. Before I could say anything, was told there is a long wait. I said okay, understandable. I said I'd like to make a to go order. She replied really rudely, "I'm just going to tell you now, you're going to be waiting a while. The people who have ordered and are here come first, and the kitchen is really backed up." I am so upset by that statement. You should never tell a paying customer something in that nature! I then said "okay, I still want to order to go, how do I do that?" She directed me to the bar. I was then greeted by a server, whom was very nice. I don't know what's going on here, but communicate nicer to your customers!! Especially the very first person who greets you, what the heck.

Had the chef, not an expert, prepare a meal of her choice with a beer of her choice. It was very good a little to spicy for me. I should have told her first not to spicy. Three of us ate, my friends were very pleased. The bill was very reasonable. I will go back. I liked the laid back feel, like a hangout.

Excellent food... So many tempting dishes from which to choose. I had The Nolen, shrimp and scallops entree and it was delicious. Busy restaurant... Had to wait at least 45 minutes to be seated. It smelled so good while we waited. Dinner service was on the slow side too though. I'll certainly go back again. I'll make a reservation... And allocate time for leisurely service.

Amazing food. As a vegetarian this place is awesome as it has a range of options to choose from. Also each dish has a very unique tastes. I like the decor here more than at the other place.

It was okay. The wait staff were helpful. Someone in the kitchen decided my portion of fish was not large enough, and sent out an additional portion. Nice. I like the atmosphere of the place. However, the food was just okay. I had the Mayfield Falls dish and it was okay. I live less than half a mile from the place and this was my first visit. I would go back, but there are many, many choices for restaurants and I don't see this being near the top of my list.
