Story

NOLA Animal Clinic is a locally owned small business in eastern New Orleans aimed at giving you superb veterinary services and a friendly staff at great prices. In addition to a wide range of Science Diet food and products, we carry and recommend many natural supplements, including Stanard Process' veterinary formulas. We carry heartworm and flea preventatives including Frontline, Sentinel, and Heartguard. We offer many products for pet hygiene and comfort, such as Biotene Oral Care products and a wide range of shampoo and bath products. Our services include annual and periodic vaccinations, preventative care, hospitilization, spaying and neutering, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, grooming, bathing, and boarding. Dr. Jake is wonderful! He is patient and caring with my dog. He takes the time to talk to him so he doesn't feel afraid. That is a rare quality to find. The front desk staff treat us kindly too.

I called on March 17 to make an appointment for today March 24 to be told that an appointment was never booked for me. Phone was disconnected and I returned the call back to have MICHELLE answer the phone saying "I HAVE A LONG LINE, IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN HELP YOU WITH RIGHT QUICK". And I was curious, so I asked do you normally answer a business phone this way, NOT may I help you. Customer Service is extremely rude and they're disorganized with scheduling. I will look further for another vet, I will not ever call this facility again after this experience.

Love the grooming.. that’s the only service we use but need improvement on wait times. We have to wait for check in and wait for pick up. One time we waited 15min to drop off and then 15min for pick up when we were called and notified he was ready in the same day. Grooming shouldn’t have that long of a wait since we aren’t seeing a vet... just checking in and paying to check out.

Nola Animal Clinic is compassionate and kind with animals. Their veterinarians are top notch. They also carry Hills Prescription Diet Dog and Cat food. Their services include vaccinations, microchipping, surgery, bathing and grooming, and boarding.

Waited quite a while for an emergency visit. Vet took blood but talked in circles over diagnosis. Charged us $278 to put her to sleep and dispose her body. Very offended by that term as she wasnt a bag of garbage to dispose. Taking advantage of people when they are losing a furbaby is horrible. They should be ashamed. Id give less than 1 star if I could!!!
