Story

Norcross High School opened a 440,000-square-foot (41,000 m2) facility at 5300 Spalding Drive in Norcross in August 2001. This land was purchased by the Gwinnett County Public School System because the 1998 tornado cleared the land of trees. The new building opened with a student population of 2,400 students. Today the student body has an estimated 3,000 pupils. The former facility located at 2595 Beaver Ruin Road has been renamed Buchanan High School of Technology, which houses Gwinnett Online Campus and GIVE Center West, a grade 6-12 alternative school.

Don’t listen to everyone who gave one star. They not about that social life. This school got all types of females. We got Smart, pretty, dumb, ratchet, crazy, shy, etc. All the guys here are loyal too so if I could rate it higher I would. Esketit

By far the worst school. If u are attending highschool in the next year or so i advice u guys to go to paul duke. Administrators and some teachers are very rude and arent helpful. certian custodians make students get up from lunch table and pick up there table so that way they wont be able to sit there. Very petty and very immature.it seems to me that custodians here get to the level of 10year olds, in other words are very immature when dealing with kids they dont like, or problems .  If i could give less than one star rating i would so. Worst experience ever dirty restrooms, and writing on bathroom walls.i am gladly happy to say i will be graduating this year. But If anything paul duke is brand new and is similar to nhs. GO TO PAUL DUKEEE

As a senior of 2k18! I am finally dipping from here for miles. Honestly i Wouldve liked it if wasnt overcrowded. In fact I feel attacked by teachers when They want u to do Work even though i dont need to pass that class . Some obnoxious and dissing kids annoy me. They should know their place and back up. Also, they need to stay in their lane and dont bump into each other, but its ok im unfazed. Just know im not trying to impress anyone. Remember kids keep ur hopes up and follow ur dreams. Therefore, im going to the top now and im going to live The Best rest of my life. Lol

Wont share name of this abusive teacher, but he belittles and embarrasses students in his class when they dont understand this extremely difficult subject (Physics) that he teaches. They are afraid to ask him questions.. He tells them they will end up growing up to live in apartments. Many of these children already live in apartments. He is disrespecting them and  their parents who are doing the best they can. Some students can't take his mental and emotional abuse and lose there temper verbally against him. My student doesnt want me to report him. Probably afraid of backlash. She said he has seniority because he has been there so long. He should not be teaching our children. He is damaging their self esteem.

In all honesty, I wish I could have given this school an even lower score. After attending a soccer game last night, I was utterly bewildered by not only the behavior of the students but the teachers themselves. I felt extremely disrespected and embarassed when the Varsity Girls Soccer Coach questioned why I, a VISITOR, was sitting on the VISITOR's side. There is no wrong doing in allowing me to sit there in peace and support my team. His attitude and condescnding tone is what threw my mood off and I had no further respect for the school because its representatives do not portray it well. He told us to move to the other side, which is what really confused us because we understand that most people were sitting
over there but it did not require the level of animosity he had. It was probably because we had so much school spirit, that it annoyed him how spirited he was. For a school who is mostly focused on football and basketball, it was surprising that all of a sudden their students wanted to support soccer when they started to do well. Their student section MOCKED and RIDICULED us as we chanted for our players. Honestly, Come On Gwinnett. Very few schools have shown us and other schools of our nature the respect that we have earned and deserved. Shake my head.
