I'm reviewing the gas station, and if I could give it negative 5 stars, I would.

DRIVERS BEWARE! The guy working at gas station for the night shift is a CHEAT.

I don't usually pump gas at this station- I usually go to Costco. I had an empty tank tonight, and had dropped by at about 11pm (since Costco is closed). It usually costs $50 to $60 for a full tank of gas for my car.

I went up to the counter and paid cash for $25 worth of cash. The guy at the counter keeps telling me that he doesn't have change if I end up pumping less than $25 because he has closed and locked up his cash register for the day. I completely understand his circumstances and that it's standard operating procedures to limit the amount of free cash flows for safety reasons. I told him it's ok, and to give me $25 worth of gas, because I know for sure my car can take $25 worth of gas.

And so I went back to my car and got started, and the pump stopped when it hit $15.63 worth of pertrol. No matter what I do, I can't dispense more gas. I went back to him and ask him why did the pump stop, and he keeps saying that he told me earlier that he wouldn't be able to give me cash back if I don't dispense $25 worth of gas. I'm like, what the hell, my car was near empty, which takes up to $60 to get a full tank of gas, and now it can't even take $25 of gas?? If he had indeed key in $25 of gas to be dispensed from the pump, I would be able to dispense gas from the pump even when my tank is full - it will just overflow eventually. But the pump did not even work to dispense any more gas after $15.63! HE OBVIOUSLY DID NOT INPUT THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF GAS PURCHASED INTO THE SYSTEM. I had to argue with that guy at the gas station counter that my freaking car can take up to 25 bucks worth of gas so that he will give me the remaining $9.37 worth of gas. And he had to go through the register to give me that balance gas. Obviously he either originally keyed in a smaller amount, or tempered with something when I started pumping gas.

FYI, after $25 worth of has, my car is just slightly more than 50% full.

I think it is very obvious that he's cheating money from the customers. If drivers just assumed that it is indeed because their car that's not taking more gas, and he can't give change because he had done the cash settlement for the day and needs to be locked up for safety reason - the drivers will just drive away and he's going to make a ton from all this cheating!
