Had all my paperwork in order and was finished transferring a title and buying a plate in less then 30 minutes including wait time. You will have a bad experience if you don't have all your paperwork, ask stupid questions or don't speak English

Bad attitude and poor service. Lazy. Am starting to understand why Trump wants to privatize DMV as then they might have to work.

The staff is helpful. However, the set-up is not customer oriented. If you show up at 5:01 and your elderly party has been there since 4:55 you should be allowed to step inside long enough to hand them documents and explain what they need to do. Do not expect to get information over the phone because you will only get a recording. Part of the benefit of privatizing these offices should be to offer flexibility to the citizens of North Carolina.

I went in a Friday afternoon and the room was full. The representative, a young lady, who assisted me was unfriendly and not-caring. She failed to mention many of the choices that I may have (both my wife and I was there for a car registration as we just moved to NC), such as choosing a car plate and payment options. Worse experience than the other DMV ( driver's license ) and SSA.
