(TL;DR) THIS OFFICE HAS HAD ONGOING ISSUES WITH PROPER DELIVERY FOR MANY YEARS. I saw another review referencing the panhandlers who are allowed to hang out there. It makes me feel unsafe going there. I don't know if it's the office or the carrier, but I'm sick of the problems with getting my mail. A few months ago, I had my correctly addressed package of medication delivered to the wrong address causing me to get sick because of stopping medication suddenly. In October, I had a gift card go missing for 3 weeks after reaching the High Point office before it finally got delivered. Also in Sept/October, a time sensitive letter took 6 weeks to reach me from an in-town organization. It took the follow-up letter 5 business days to get here. Currently, I am awaiting a package from Amazon that should have been delivered today, Monday, however, it was reported to Amazon as "undeliverable" because the carrier tried to deliver it on SUNDAY to the secure building in live in. The carrier should know there is no management on site on the weekends, therefore, there is no one to let them in. Did everyone in the building end up with "undeliverable" mail because the carrier randomly came here on SUNDAY? I've lived in High Point for 20 years and have had these sorts of problems constantly and I know it's not just me. Who is in charge over there???

Delivery attempted An attempt was made to deliver your package, but the business was closed. Please look for a notice of attempted delivery for the next steps. Very funny as I have been sitting on the front porch all day - 3rd time they have lied and not even tried to deliver package UPDATE 11/2/17 - Confirmed delivery to my address from amazon, sadly I was waiting on it and no one came, contacted Amazon who says I will probably get it Monday, so they not only lie about being closed, the lie about delivery information.

The people who panhandle are allowed to literally stalk you in the most aggressive and terrifying way in the parking lot and then right behind you and right into the building itself and then back out asking and telling you that you have something to give them.. When I told postal workers they said there is nothing they can do about it. What went on and thier attitude about it made me decide to never ever go there again unless someone sends me mail to be picked up there and if it can't be transferred somehow. If you're dealing with money or anything of value I would go to a safer location. I don't know if the workers there have tried calling the police, or if the USPS high ups could hire security there, both should be done.

Received call from this office that went straight to voicemail for some reason, prompting me to call because my package was addressed incorrectly (it's not), no callback number was left in the voicemail. Altogether a bothersome experience.

Highpoint post office is the worst I've ever come across.ive had packages missing put in the wrong mailbox,we have a deaf mail lady we cannot communicate with who I think steals there is no way your stuff is missing every time I'm missing 5 in they don't give a Damm in I'm reporting all involved
