Story

Dr. Clyde G. Steed JR, DDS graduated top of his class from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1976. After graduation, he served in the United States Army where he continued his learning in a multitude of real-life situations. The time and dedication he has shown to the trade of Dental Health has awarded him a great following, with patients following him from his original offices in Forest Park, Mableton, Norcross and Gainesville, GA to his newest location in Cumming, which opened in 2002.

Dr. Steed is assisted by Karen Ramey CDA, and employees two Hygenists, Susan Eichler RDH and Ashley Miller RDH.

I have never met a group of people who consistently go out of there way to take care of patients like the staff of North Ga Dental Care. I have been a regular patient for about three years and have only had great experiences. Dr. Steed and Karen have completely gone out of their ways to help me over the years. Brandon and Paula are also remarkable at getting me in the office when I have a dental emergency. I will always recommend this office to my friends and family. Thanks guys!

In response to Mr. Mark Matson's review, it is important to understand that Mr. Matson RETURNED to Dr. Steed's office after this inappropriate review and was THRILLED with the results of his PERMANENT crown. He then felt "so terribly towards our office" that he returned again twice just this month so that Dr. Steed could treat him further. Does that sound like an individual who really believes his own review? Dr. Steed's workmanship is beyond reproach. He's been in business for almost 40 years with an EXCEPTIONALLY loyal patient following. As for Mr. Matson, it is regrettable that someone could receive such amazing dental care and high-quality workmanship and STILL be so unappreciative of the results. Some people simply live to be contrary. Such is the case with this person. That said, Mr. Matson refuses to leave Dr. Steed's care because he knows how superior Dr. Steed is to most dental professionals currently practicing.

Negative. Though his office claimed otherwise, I did not find him to be empathetic towards individuals with very low incomes or persons without dental insurance. I think his prices are high just like most dentists. He performed shoddy workmanship on my crown. Temporary crown fell off a week latter. Now, he wants another thousand to start the procedure all over again Lake Lanier Smiles used to be empathetic to persons with low income. However, the doctor that started the practice sold his soul for money and left the practice to make mad money. He really appeared not to really care about low income individuals at all, and he just wanted to get paid.

Nice and friendly. ...not always ready to meet your needs if it is an inconvenience though, I'm sorry to say!!!

Honestly the best dentist I've ever been to. Had Dr. Steed remove a wisdom tooth without any after effects. No pain, no drugs, it was fantastic.
