We went here as a last resort this past weekend because every other camping place within an hour from FW was booked. So so pleasantly surprised! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. You get a lot of space to yourself, so we definitely felt like we had a lot of privacy. The entrance was affordable compared to the other places we had looked at. The hiking trail was cool!  It was too cold to swim so cannot attest to the swimming, but it seemed more like a lounge around and fish place. All in all, highly recommend!

We love this park. Even though we live just down the street, it's a great place to camp, or go for the day!

Nice area, facilities clean but run down.  A safe place to ride a bike, camp, walk.

We go to furthest place you can park and walk down towards the shore. Its a great place to take kids fossil hunting
