This place is a joke if I could give 0 stars I would. They have 5 Windows only 3 of them are open. And only one of the 3 files the reports. The other 2 seem to do nothing at all. I have been standing here for almost 2 hours only one person has been helped. And yes standing cause there are only about 10 chairs and there is about 25 people here. I'd really like to know where my tax money is going.

Joyce olivero she is so corrupted took my dog supposly for a bite but it was a lie my dog did not bite that person . (fake constable) - called Joyce to come pick up my dog they got paid for it cause the guy who pay the corrupted constable and animal control officer hated my dog and he knew the only way to get rid of my dog was paying someone. I didn't even get any paper work she (Joyce) gave me blank paper . Why this happens to good and honest people? Why the law is corrupted and no one is doing nothing about it ? I have my dog for 8 years his a good boy and I love him very much why he has to suffer?

I just want to say thank you to the Animal control officer who came out today to my house to pick up a nice pitbull girl i found after the 4th of july she was out in the heat and i took her in feed her gave her water and washed her down unfortunately i could not keep her since i have 2dogs of my own already.anyways the officer who came oit was so nice and treated her great !!!!thank you city of north las vegas!

I have to say, animal control officers don't get enough credit for the jobs that they do. Me and my husband came across an injured bird outside of city view park on E. Chayenne. The bird was VERY big and aggressive.. after it tried to attack me several times I decided to call animal control officers. A very nice animal control officer came out (I didn't get her name) and she grabbed the bird with no hesitation. As she's holding this bird he starts biting and pulling of pieces of her hand and arm, it was terrible.. he was attacking her. She could've just early dropped the bird, and I wouldn't of blamed her, but instead she kept walking as this bird continued to bite her. We finally got the bird to the truck and she placed him in a cage. Her hand and arms were leaking blood in several different spots but she didn't complain once. So, I THANK these officers who come out and do this line of work. I'm sure they get bit all the time but still continue to help animals in need.

Won't let me remove the one star. I would give it a minus if I could. Absolutely the most unprofessional officer I have ever talked to. Officer Nichols. He hung up on me because I was questioning his decision not to go to the house of a dog who is incessantly barking at me in my own backyard. This is the second complaint. Apparently when the offender doesn't fix the problem both parties have to go to mediation. ?!?!?! Seriously?! I take offense to the fact that I am expected to take the time and effort to "mediate" a law!!! This officer was so unprofessional that he hung up on me. I truly hope they recorded this call. What we're supposed to "mediate" is beyond me. Am I supposed to agree not to use my backyard on certain days or at certain times so this dog can bark incessantly? Add to that the fact that I am recovering from surgery can't drive, can't get anywhere without help and now can't enjoy the peace and quiet of my own backyard. What is going on here? Add to that that this "neighbor" has four dogs, and a pet door so when the owner is gone these dogs run crazy in and out with no supervision and no one making them stop barking. You can bet I'm seeing this through to the end but I'll be bang my shoe on every door and desk along the way. That's a promise.
