This is the official Facebook page of North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety.

It is our mission to not only keep the public informed of incidents and education opportunities in their community, but to also further improve the relationship between the Department and our citizens and visitors.

While we welcome questions and comments from anyone on our wall, we will not tolerate any comments that personally attack the Department, City Govt, or any employees working for the Department. Any comments or posts that contain vulgar language or has anything in its' contents that embarrasses or slanders the Department or its' employees will be removed from the wall. Continuous infractions will result in the person being blocked and/or removed from the page.

The North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Department is committed to the protection of life and property; improving the quality of life; and protecting our City’s interests.
The Department's mission is accomplished by working with the community, City departments and other government agencies; developing and implementing proactive strategies; growing to keep pace with the community; and maintaining a workplace that promotes equal employment opportunities, respects employees as individuals and fosters teamwork.
