The library itself is great and the librarians are really nice and helpful.  The problem is there is no parking.  The library parking lot has three spaces and they are usually taken.  There's a parking lot across the street with a 1/2 hour limit, but it usually doesn't have any spaces available either.  There is also on-street parking, also usually taken.  Several times I've had to just leave because there was nowhere to park.  It's a good library but be prepared to walk a few blocks.

This place is huge with a ton of rooms and very clean.  The staff are extremely polite.

I love our library.  We have wonderful librarians!  They have always helped me find books I've wanted to read-whether it be books from the library, books on reserve, audio books, interlibrary loan, and even e-books.  They helped me get set up to check out books on my tablet.  They have the most interesting people that speak at the library through their Brown Bag Lunch program.  The Chitaqatuians are doing some speaking at the library along with other venues.  30th library now has a Coloring Book Club that meets every 3rd Saturday at the library (not meeting this month because of Nebradkaland Days, etc.) I love the North Platte Library!

This is Jackie,  not Julie.  Our library is sooo current, friendly and multimedia available, that it should be one of the major attractions to North Platte.

Not enough seating.   Areas that are blocked off and not in use could be utilized for more seating.
