The Best Hospital I went! I got hospitalized for about 3 weeks. All workers that I met, are really Professional, Kind, Friendly. And they're always near by you, ready for help and assistant you. All the services are Quickly, Carefully and Professionally Well-done. With top qualities and plentiful! I can say that, no other Hospital is better than this! Nothing to complain about! *And with the NY Insurance, no worries at all!!!

The ER was very cluttered, especially with filled beds. While the filled beds were not the fault of the ER staff. The hospital did not move patients to other parts of the hospital in a timely matter. While the staff was efficient medically, no one bothered to offer my husband a meal tho he was there for 4 hours by this time, just a light snack. He was offered hot blankets and a pillow numerous times. The directions around the hospital were well placed and intersections were clearly marked. They also had a free coffee setup for the patient family but no one told me about it. The waiting room also sports a free phone charging station. The cafeteria food while somewhat costly were of good quality. A large roast beef sandwich an a bottle of seltzer were $10. That's not bad for a hospital.

One of the best, caring , supportive care professionals out there. Here is the reason On April 14th 2018 I was hit by a car that threw me over 30 feet on the ground. I landed on my left side. So as a result I had broken ribs and a bruised heart. I was sent to Franklin hospital which was caring and nice also attentive. Then to do special extensive care in my end I was take to this hospital. When I first arrive to this hospital I was severely wounded and the care takers took care of me then till this day I am writing this review. The care takes of north shore university hospital made sure that I was happy , taken care of and hopeful. Here are a few things that makes me want to go back for appointments and hospital services. 1) the place was absolutely perfect and spotless. The Janitors was there to clean every detailed surface. It was little to no dust spots. 2) everyone at that hospital work with passionate appreciation to me and my needs. I know everyone expenerice is different but for me it was like I was part of their family. I was given delicious meals and fluffy pillows. 3) lots of diversity and culture. 4) made sure that I get up to date state of the art check up and each and every hospital staff made sure that I was in great condition. 5 ) this hospital literally put people first. The staff at North Shore University Hospital did more than enough, work weekend hours and lack of sleep to make sure I was able to make it home peace and in recovery. And I swear on my life that this is the best hospital to go. Today April 16, 2018 I am relaxing and grateful to be alive and well.

Giving it 2 Stars and that is for the Nurses who were great when I was in the hospital for 5 days. I have always come here but this time I was really let down and very upsetting. During my stay an MRI was needed and the I was told by the MRI Department that they couldn't perform it because I was overweight and they don't have a machine for people over 350. I will have to think twice about coming back in the future since the hospital is not properly equipped to treat an overweight person like myself.

Excellent hospital. Staff is great and caring. Doctors are great. Both of my parents were in north Shore, they are the best.
