North Star Sports was started in 1985 by Patricia Miller. Today, Pat still runs the shop with Jay, her husband and son JP. They and their great staff, bring a wealth of expertise in all areas of cycling.

Story

North Star Sports began as North Star BMX in the home of Pat Miller in 1985. If you rode a 20 inch back then, you've likely ordered some parts from her ads in magazines like BMX Plus or Freestylin! Since then, she has become one of the few female owned and operated businesses in the bike industry.

The original name for the shop was North Star Cyclery. As time went on, we began to offer Nordic Skis, Snowshoes, clothing and accessories needed for fun in the snow. We also sell Fitness Equipment and are now known as North Star Sports.

Our passion remains in the bike industry. We pride ourselves on offering that small store feel and top notch customer service Vermont is known for.

Located in the heart of Burlington at 100 Main Street, we are conveniently located between Church Street Market Place and Burlington's Waterfront.
