Like most people embarking on a home improvement or remodel project, we had done extensive research online about what we wanted from our new kitchen; looks, function, and an enduring design. There are so many talented people out there that do kitchen remodeling, choosing one firm to turn your dream into reality can be overwhelming. After researching the Better Business Bureau, Angie’s List and Houzz; we knew we could narrow the field considerably. Having been a Realtor and sold luxury real estate in Seattle, Palm Springs and San Diego, I knew the value in hiring a talented construction firm before making a single purchase. I have seen too many horrible remodels, or ones that came close but miss the mark. I have also experienced enough stellar designs, ones that make you fall in love with the home, and kitchens and baths that stand out, but still speak to and respect the character of the house they “live” in. All of these homes have two things in common, great design and a great construction firm. Northrup Remodeling is just such a firm. Our decision to hire Northrup Remodeling to build our new kitchen put us on the right path for a successful project. We interviewed several construction firms, but Northrup’s experience, knowledge, and ability to translate our ideas into real life made them the clear choice. Mark the owner, and Bob our project manager, listened, took notes, and explained their process. They are skilled communicators, bring considerable experience, and a knack for managing details to their work. Our kitchen project had several challenges and they masterfully crafted lasting solutions to fit the character of our 1924 home. Our kitchen is now magazine cover beautiful, but above all else is now a pleasure to cook in. We unequivocally recommend Northrup Remodeling for a kitchen, bath or any construction project.

Our project was small but it was completed on time with completely satisfactory results.

I got a couple of quotes from Rich. Both times he showed up on time and the quotes came back very similar in price to others. I did not end up hiring anyone for the service as our house hit the market quicker than expected, but I would recommend Northrup based on the service I received during the quoting process.

Over the years, we've used Northrup Roofing & Remodeling for a number of small projects and have always been satisfied by the quality of the work. After receiving a number of bids, we chose Northrup for, what we thought, would be a relatively modest project to fix water damage to our front porch and deck. As it turned out, the entire structure had rotted out as a result of improper construction in the original installation (which was not done by Northrup). As a result, the entire structure needed to be demolished and completely replaced. Mark White and his team, which included an architect, structural engineer, and numerous sub-contractors, were all responsive to our concerns and offered excellent advice. They were always respectful of budgetary constraints and delivered a suburb project in a timely fashion.
