Very helpful.  Needed about 6 in of 12 gauge wire and could only find a package containing 17 feet.  The worker heard me complain and took me to a place where he cut wire from a reel and saved me about $9.  Great customer service.

In my opinion, Ace Hardware is way overpriced. It's like the store is operated for people that have no idea of how home improvement works and they charge a premium on top of everything. I can buy an identical paintbrush from Home Depot for around $4 when Ace charges $9 for the same thing

I don't know if there's such a thing as too friendly, but if there were you'd experience it here. It felt like I walked into a T.V. commercial version of a store. I just wasn't prepared for it, so brace yourself for friendless :)
