They fixed my bike fast and for a really good price.  A WAY better price than I thought.  They didn't try and upsell me either.  And best of all they didn't make fun of my bike because it's a fat bike like other places might.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I'm a bike newbie and took my road bike there to get a flat fixed. They did a great job fixing it and gave me an extensive tutorial so I'll know how to fix it next time. They have a nicely stocked shop and some great looking bikes for sale.

We were riding today in the Dahlonega area, and experienced two significant problems that ended our ride and put the rest of the week's rides in jeopardy. Northstar Bicycles was recommended to us and we called because it was late in the day. They said they thought they could help, and so we drove the 20 minutes to get there. At 5:30 they immediately put the bike on the stand. Within a few minutes two people were working on the bike and completed the repairs. They were completely honest about the issues and repaired the freewheel and, at our request, replaced the front derailleur. We were treated very nicely and were out by the 6:00 closing time. The price was way more than fair and the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend Northstar to anyone!!

Excellent customer service. The owner was friendly & helpful. My bike needed a tune-up & was ready in a few days. Prices are very reasonable. They suggest what needs to be addressed on repairs and/or replacement. not pushy.

Need a repair or a bike? This is the place with the experience and knowledge to help. Shop rides call them for details. Hands down good honest  people!
