We got 3+ quotes for our motorized blind/shade installation. NW Coverings/Blinds were the least of all. Prompt & great customer service (quote + installation + followup). We HIGHLY recommend to get a quote from them in addition to to others for your window treatment jobs (before making a final decision)!

Working with NW Window Coverings was an extremely pleasant and enjoyable experience from the first consultation to the final installation. Robert patiently worked with us to identify the best kind of window treatments for our different rooms, brought samples so we could see the different materials and mechanisms first hand, and provided great recommendations. He even came back a second time to walk us through additional options when we decided to do additional treatments. The quotes were very thorough and detailed so we knew exactly what we would be paying for. Their pricing was competitive and we feel we got an extremely good value for the money we spent. NW Window Coverings was very responsive to all calls and emails, providing follow-up emails to remind us of upcoming appointments. The installation process went fast and smooth, even removing our temporary paper shades for us. They walked us through a clear tutorial of the mechanisms and encouraged us to follow up with any additional questions or concerns. We are very happy with the services provided and strongly recommend them to others.

I have purchased mini-blinds for Northwest Window Coverings twice in the past six months. The owner, office staff and installation person were all very easy work with and professional. Their email communications confirming appointments were exceptional and the cost was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I work for a property management company in Seattle and have managed various apartment properties, condos and homes in Seattle for over 25 years. 

Please note there was not one, two or three occasions  when this company failed to return a call and/or emails.  Over a 3+  month period there were a least a dozen voice mail and/or emails they failed to respond to.   I’ve overseen maintenance on many apartments, condominiums and homes for the past 25 years.  Northwest Window Coverings is one of the worst contractors I’ve ever dealt with.  I’m a very reasonable person to a fault as I waited for them to provide us with reasonable service.   I rarely provide negative feedback on our service providers.  I gave them, Northwest Window Coverings, many, many opportunities to step up and complete our job.  In the end, they failed miserably, we were ignored beyond belief. 

From the first time I called this company, throughout this whole ordeal, 3+ months,  at various times, I was told their voice mail system was not working, their email system wasn’t working, appointments were set and ignored and then rescheduled and ignored, was told that items had been delivered or would be delivered but weren’t, that damaged blinds had arrived and had to be returned, etc, etc., etc.  I’ve never heard so many excuses.  Shame on me for trying to be loyal to a fault.  3+ months of ignoring me when the process should have taken less then a month.  They could have easily taken care our us after all the mess-ups early on and chose not to.

We went with another blind company that completed the bid, order and installation in less then a month.

I used Northwest Window Coverings to install new room darkening blinds in my living room, the salesperson who came to my home was great and offered a lot of useful suggestions. The install went quickly and the installers were polite, friendly, and clean. All in all, a great company with great products
