We were delighted with our first visit to a Not Your Average Joe's restaurant. The menu offered a wide assortment of selections, the prices were moderate, the service was attentive, and the setting is very attractive. Also, the restaurant was quiet enough that we could easily carry on a conversation over lunch. We are looking forward to our next visit to the restaurant.

My husband and I went here for dinner last night, as we have previously. This time, the server took nearly 10 minutes to come over and take our drink orders, with no apology for taking so long. He then took such a while to actually bring the drinks another waiter came over to ask if we needed anything. We finally order, he doesn't write it down (red flag) and lo and behold he screws up my order. Eventually we both eat and leave only to get sick overnight and into the next day. The only thing we shared that day was the bread/oil and the chicken tender appetizer at the restaurant. I decided to call today and let the manager know about our evening but was put on hold for 5+ minutes so I gave up. Unusually terrible experience here. Might think twice about going back.

Great service and food. We had a toddler with us...Plenty of space to move in and out. Everyone was very accommodating. Grilled scallops with chipotle mashed sweet were great. Sorbet was really good too.

Not your average Joe’s...? Really? Because that is EXACTLY how I would define this stereotypical chain restaurant: Average. The menu is the result of a focus group and it shows. The ambience is undoubtedly what they “were going for” but sucks nonetheless. The service is average. The drink prices average. 3 stars...you know why? Totally average.

Went twice in the past week.  Made a reservation both times and did not have to wait to be seated.  Food was okay nothing great.  Hamburgers (2 in my group's order) were definitely not fresh and made ahead of time.  Burnt on the outside, raw on inside.  Funny that Hamburger Hamlet used to be at this location.  Fries were way overcooked, somehow burnt...crunchy, not crispy.   And I'm not a fussy foodie.  Five Guys is fine by me!   Salads were the better choice and enjoyed the most. Chicken in the salads again precooked, but easily disguised by the dressing and not that big a deal.  Servers were pleasant enough but not super attentive.  I was mostly underwhelmed by the food and will head toward another alternative the next time I dine out (like Del Frisco's up a little further on Old Georgetown Rd.)

It seems like they Joe's offers a ton of choices, but most items are listed several times throughout the menu, so it's not as extensive as it looks.  I cannot speak to the gluten free assortment as that was not an issue for my group.

Interesting, the noise level was quite okay.  The place was packed both times, but I had no trouble hearing others in my group or the waitress/waiter.   Maybe it was the table locations.

It's worth a try to see if you like it, but go somewhere else if you want a burger.  Good Luck.
