Story

Located one-half mile outside the Capital Beltway in North Bethesda, Maryland, Strathmore provides affordable, accessible, multi-disciplinary arts programming in the Mansion at Strathmore, the Music Center at Strathmore, and on its scenic 11-acre site.

It was very easy to get to. We drove, but you can also get there via the Metro Red Line. Parking is right across the street, and there is an elevated walkway across to the Music Center. We got there early enough to eat at the cafe inside and had a very nice prix fixe meal. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available. The performance hall itself is really lovely - nice design, not too big. I don't think are any bad sightlines in the place. Good acoustics too. All in all, we were very impressed and hope to visit there again.
