Felt like spa visit! I loved how they have taken the time to invest in details of beauty and decor to make an often uncomfortable experience (teeth cleaning) as soothing and relaxing as possible. The same with the staff! Friendly, relaxed and capable. Best dentist visit ever!

My first appointment went well. They treated my son very well, they treated me very well. I was told I had cavities and and had to be sedated to have them all worked on. I agreed. Everything seemed fine. I was greeted kindly, seated, etc. they started the nitrous oxide to help relax me, and gave me a crushed up pill. Due to my allergies, I could barely breath through my nose. I told them. They said it was fine. Soon I was out. I thought everything would go great until I woke up. Instead I was in and out. At one point I felt them drill into a tooth that wasn't properly numbed. I cried out in pain. A simple " ouch that hurts, please stop!" No obscene words, so continued screaming, no scene.the doctor told me to "stop my hooting and hollering!" Jabbed me with more novacaine and walked away. At my follow up today, I expressed how that made me feel. They responded with, " well you weren't our only patient and we didn't want you scaring the other patients." That's understandable. I asked what I could have done. They replied they usually tell patients to raise their hand if they're in pain. I told them I wasn't told that. They said it was because I was sedated. I told them I felt belittled, and that they could have said something closer to, " oh I'm sorry you felt that, let's re numb it. If you feel pain like that again, just raise your hand." She just kept saying I could have scared other patients. All I did was respond to stimuli. I was not obscene. I wanted to talk about the issue because it was poorly handled. It was made clear I wasn't deserving of enough respect to rectify drilling into a tooth that isn't numb, but I must remain silent and do something I wasn't told to do in order to keep other patients happy. I deserve as much respect as any other patient. I paid like everyone else, and got treated poorly for responding to stimuli. I was hoping by talking with them, it could help a patient and doctor in the future, so no one feels disrespected. They want me to follow up on a week, but why go back to a place that doesn't value me as a patient? I hope no one else experiences what I experienced. That it can be learned from. No one should feel they don't matter. No one should be belittled like I was. There was no real apology, I was only continuously put down.

Nu Smile offers GREAT customer service! The entire staff treats you right at home. Dr. Colvin is so sincere and sweet, she takes her time and explains everything to you in detail! I will never go to any other dentist! My dentist ROCKS!

My experience with Nu-Smile has always been positive. Dr. Colvin and her staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr. Colvin always gives me options for the best plan of treatment. It's a calm environment, so my son isn't so anxious when he visits the dentist.

Beautiful office, friendly and skilled staff! I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Colvin. The surgery and recovery was painless.
