I am a huge fan of NuImage and Dr. D. Over the years since moving from Dallas to Michigan I have tried to find a good place. I would use Groupons and try lots of different places. After lots of disappointment I have decided to stick with Dr. D - even though it is a long drive for me. He is so honest and conservative. He never pushes treatments or products I don't need. And I am convinced that his treatments last double any place else I have gone to.

Dr. Derderian is honest, conservative, professional and gentle; everything that you want in a doctor and more. I visited Dr. D for botox and a forming spider vein. I was greeted immediately by the doctor and the office manager in the quaint downtown Birmingham office. As someone in the healthcare industry, I feel compelled to share my experience as it was truly one of the bests that I've had. I usually get 8-10 botox units in my forehead and he actually recommended a lesser amount (7 units). To me, this was a very honest move as in my experience, many doctors and estheticians require a 20 unit minimum and want to pump you full of fillers to build up your bill. It's worth noting that people have commented that he fills the syringe outside of the room and to some this seems "sketchy". However, if you're familiar with the product and the storage requirements, you'll know that Botox MUST be refrigerated. Hence why it's kept in the refrigerator. He also performed a laser treatment on the what I believe was the beginning of a spider vein. I've had multiple laser treatments and laser hair removal, I have to say- the laser Dr. D uses was quick and painless. I was in, out and on my way to lunch in no time. I do want to point out that in my mind, what set him apart is his sincerity. He won't sell you on something you don't need just to make a buck. In fact, my experience was quite the contrary- he was telling me that I didn't need fillers and that I needed a lower dose of botox than I've gotten anywhere in Chicago.

Dr.D is amazing my mom referred me I did Juvaderm in my lips they came out amazing I've been back three times now. The staff is amazing you won't leave disappointed he makes sure I'm happy before leaving and he doesn't try to up sell you at all. I told him I think I needed botox, he looked at me and told me come back for that in about 5 years. He's awesome highly recommend him and the facility.

Wanted to wait to make sure if the hyper pigmentation improved. Last year I got laser treatment for dark areas on my nose and cheeks (melasma). Dr treated the areas and my upper lip. A week later, I noticed the upper lip was darker than before the treatment. It looks like I have a constant 5 o'clock shadow. Shared my concern with the doctor. He wanted to wait. Finally, after almost 2 months, he did another treatment on a very low level. This did nothing. Doctor refused to do anything. I have not gone back and have to use extra makeup to cover the shadow 3-4 times a day. This has completely changed my life. I have become so self conscious. Strangers stare at my upper lip. This is when I know I need to touch it up. My children are honest and tell me the shadow is obvious. Don't know how this place is booked up and there aren't more reviews. I will never recommend or go there again.

I love this spa. Dr D is so warm and kind, and his work is beautiful. The staff is professional, the facility beautiful and clean. The prices are competitive, and I feel very comfortable here.
