Best Experience I've ever had. My mother is a cancer survivor and after nine months of chemotherapy and hair loss, went to Peau Claire Medi Spa to have permanent eye liner applied. The staff was professional and courteous and sensitive to her possible pain. Overall, they are well trained and guided by the eminently capable Dr. David Spurlin who is a medical doctor. My mother left feeling renewed and hopeful. We all had tears in our eyes--my mom, my sister, and the aesthetician who performed the procedure.

My experience at Peau Claire Medi Spa has been fantastic! I have been a patient there for over a year now. I have had both IPL and Active FX done and am SO HAPPY with my results! People often comment on my skin because my complexion is so much more even. Dr. Spurlin and his staff have been so kind and guided me to the right treatments. I feel like they really care about me there. I couldn't be more pleased!

Please be careful when considering IPL treatments!  Especially if you have Melasma.  I had a very mild case of Melasma that was made much much worse by IPL treatments that were supposed to help take it away.  It only made it much worse, I have scarring on my face and it's taken hundreds of dollars in creams and other treatments that are trying to undo the damage that I am not sure if it can ever full be repaired.  I am just being honest and sharing my own experience because I don't want anyone else to go through what I have been going through.  I think they thought I had sun spots and it was Melasma, totally different situation.  Bottom line, if you have Melasma don't do IPL treatments, no matter who tries to tell you they will help.  I am proof they don't and they only make it worse.  It's been a total nightmare.  When we called to complain, the doctor just said just wear makeup and it should be fine.  I have a major problem with a statement like that.  Women want to go makeup free sometimes and for me, that will not be an option and I am angry and so upset that 900.00 and 4 IPL treatments later.  They should have recommended peels not laser because heat and light only make that condition worse (which at the time I didn't know).  

Please be careful and don't let what happened to me happen to you!
