This may be a good place to buy a new car but if you are buying pre-owned, their attention to detail and customer service is sadly lacking. First impressions were good, the salesperson was professional and they seemed to be well organized with the paperwork. However, problems started once the contract was signed. The finance department and the sales department didn’t’ agree on the numbers they crunched, they forgot to have me sign several documents and then asked me to come back in several days later to complete the paperwork they forgot about. The icing on the cake, however, was that on day 30 of the 30 day warranty the car broke down. Kia Nutley told me to pay a mechanic to have he car delivered to their service department to see what the problem was and if they would decide to make it an issue covered by the warranty or not. I asked my trusted local mechanic to look at the car because I needed the car urgently and there were two problems with it – both of them covered by the terms of the warranty and suggesting either an incompetent service department or a deliberate attempt to misrepresent the car. Kia Nutley refused to honor the warranty because I had the car seen to by my local mechanic. They said that a highly respected mechanic (who incidentally has much better reviews than their own service department) was lying about the diagnosis. One of the problems was that the car was sold as ‘with new battery’ but the battery was actually as old as the car and Nutley Kia said the mechanic lied about the state of the battery and that the new battery just needed to by jump started rather than replaced and that the mechanic was dishonest for suggesting otherwise. The attitude of the manager was rude, unprofessional and downright fraudulent. I work for a large organization and advise new arrivals in the US on where to live etc. Kia Nutley is now on the ‘don’t touch with a bargepole’ list.

Came to this dealer after a certain Kia dealership in Clifton managed to fudge up two days of our lives. Anyways this plane is great. It feels like you are coming to a friend's house. People are very nice. (Anne - Thank YOU) Prices are lower than the aforementioned hole , timelines are met and most importantly services are performed.

I still cannot forget a negative experience I had at this dealership in 2016. However, it is 2018 now and things could have changed for better or worse. Kia as a company is now a world-class corporation with highly rated products, but many of its dealers are still 15 years backwards in terms of customer services. Kia is run by Germans who turned around Audi from near bankruptcy, the same folks are now part of Kia turnaround story. Hope dealers improve as well in line with these expectations. There are many newer dealers with better amenities and services compared to Nutley Kia.

My husband  and I bought a Kia Sorrento and Francesco was very professional and knowledgeable. Took his time out to make sure we got the best deal possible. Also, Tony additionally had a very positive attitude and helped us secure the deal we were looking for. Will recommend to friends and family. Thank you!
