Amazing walk in experience for a follow up on wound care after surgery at Dartmouth. Surprised to find this gem so close to home!!
I have always had very good experiences with going to Corner Medical. I was given a new PA, Doreen Brado, when Miriam Simon retired. On my second visit with her, I was in alot of pain, so much so, it hurt to stay seated. The pain was under my ribs and radiated to my back. I gave the info to both the nurse and Ms. Brado, who seemed to take my degree of pain lightly. She concentrated on my high blood pressure. Anyway story made shorter, she sent me on my way, set up an ultrasound for the next day, I went out the door and thought I must just be a wimp because she wasn't terribly concerned, neither should I be. I went home suffered, but when I woke up the next day the pain was gone, so I canceled the ultrasound. I kept having episodes but ignored them. I also changed PA to Adelaide Adjuvo, who by the way is awesome. One day I went to her with a concern, she did some bloodwork, and set up an ultrasound voicing her concerns. From the ultrasound, she set up an appointment at Dartmouth. Seven months of horrible pain, seven procedures, and $89,000 dollars later, I finally am well. Looking back much of this might have been avoided if I had a provider who showed concern, set up an immediate ultrasound with the emergency room, and followed through with treatment. I bare some responsibility in this as I did ignore pain, but still, a good provider could have made the difference for me. Just be careful and trust your own body even if your provider does not show concern or empathy for the pain you are in. By the way the front desk has always been awesome do deal with. Just make sure your provider matches your personality and expectations, and Corner Medical will be great for you!
I'm looking for a doctor elsewhere. I had an appointment set up with them a month ago only to go to the appointment to be told it would be an hour wait. I rescheduled the appointment and the soonest they can get me in is 3 months from now. Poor management on their part.
Staff here makes you feel unheard and belittles your health concerns. Do not go here if you are under 25 and care about your health! They will not listen to you! Will be changing my doctor’s office immediately.
Long wait list to get accepted as a new patient, but once I was accepted no complaints. Nice facility and knowledgeable staff.
For the last ten years I have been going to corner medical there has been minimal to complain about. Most of the staff is very professional and knowledgeable.
They were very accommodating and they checked me in even though I was 15mins. late. awesome staff!
