Walking into Rodi’s office for the first time, I was nervous. I was staring down what was certain to be a long, nasty, complex divorce and I needed to make sure I had the best representation possible. But, I also had to know I could trust and relate to whoever might provide that.

Rodi commanded the room with her presence, nevertheless, she immediately put me at ease. Within no time at all I could tell she understood where I was coming from, what my children and I were going through, and how my ex figured into these things. She got up to speed on my particularly complicated/unique situation extremely quickly, and I knew at once I had an ally. And a determined, smart, experienced, relentless, caring one at that. I knew she had my back from day one.

And she never once faltered. Through the countless, pointless and malicious deviations, distractions, and motions my ex threw up to complicate things; the endless diatribe of slander and lies, the messy and ugly, Rodi was my rock. She – and her equally amazing and dedicated paralegal – gave me confidence, kept me informed, and put everything into perspective. She has a vast history with and inside knowledge of the courts and judges and she possesses a fierce, but steady, demeanor. She doesn’t let emotion get in the way as she works tirelessly to create a fair, appropriate, and welcome outcome. 

When my ex failed to even try to make mediation a success, we faced at court time—something both she and I had hoped to avoid. Mediation is always Rodi’s preferred outcome; that said, the court is truly where she shines. My own court experience turned into a three-day circus of sorts, thanks to my ex’s antics, vitriol, and curious representation. Rodi was at the top of her game fielding all the balls he kept trying to throw at us; she had hold of every thread and met each of his efforts with her legal expertise to ensure they fell short. 

Above all else, though, Rodi held my children at the heart of the everything and truly served as their advocate. There is no doubt that my kids were her highest, sacred priority. 

In the end, the outcome was best it could possibly be, given my situation. There is also no doubt that if it weren’t for Rodi O’Loane I don’t think I would have made it through all of this. She made me stronger and kept my family safe and protected.

I have been extremely fortunate to have worked with both Rodi and Michele.  These two women guided me through a very difficult time in my life - the end of my 40+ years of marriage.  Even though there were no young children involved, there was definitely a family dynamic that included two older children and a lifetime of assets.

My initial hope was that the Collaborative Divorce process would be the best choice for a dignified resolution without the trauma of litigation.  This decision brought me to Michele, who absolutely shines in this area.  Her expertise and honest desire to make this process work helped me through a very nerve-wracking time; she kept me focused on what was important and made sure my questions were answered when things got confusing or upsetting.  I had a friend as well as an excellent attorney.

Collaborative divorce works if both sides are equally interested in being honest and above-board.  Unfortunately, this was not the case for my ex-husband and his attorney.  They failed to make the collaborative process a success and it became obvious that preparing for litigation was our only choice.  At this point Rodi became involved and I had another advocate.

Rodi is a gem.  She quickly brought herself up to speed on the intricacies of my case, and her knowledge of the court system and her thoughts on the path we should take made me feel instantly at ease; I knew I could trust her completely.  My divorce was lengthy and without Rodi's calm, confident, determined and professional conduct throughout I would have been a basket case.  She and her paralegal, Barb, make an excellent team.  Barb went above and beyond to answer my questions and keep me informed every step of the way.  

I am happy to say Rodi was successful in bringing us to the mediation process and a very satisfactory result, thus avoiding a battle in court.  I attribute this success to Rodi's extreme diligence in procuring the best possible outcome for an ugly situation.  I will always be grateful to her.

Now that Rodi and Michele have joined forces in a single firm their combined expertise is the best of both worlds!  I would highly recommend their firm and believe they both bring the utmost in professionalism and care to their clients.

The O'loane Law Group, specifically Rodi, was the best choice I made when I needed it most. She helped me through all of the steps of my divorce like she was family. She cared about me her client like I knew her for many years. Best call I ever made.

My experience with Rodi O'loane has been exceptional!  She cares about her clients, she is honest and straight forward and  works extremely hard to bring it all together  and ensure the best for her client.  The firm is down to earth and easy to work with.
