This newly renovated resort on the beach had been a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the area.  There are several delicious and reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance.  We have eaten twice at the beach restaurant that is part off the complex and love that there is good music too.  We leave our balcony doors open to enjoy it, but we can close the doors to tune it out if we need.  The pools and spa are excellent and clean, but we've mostly been able to enjoy the beach right out the back door.  There are children here, including our own, but for the most part it has been quiet.

This place was below average ,and I don't know where to start. Let's start here ,the place was filthy ,we had to vacuum before we could sit down. The inside bathroom doorknob wouldn't work ,the main door was Hart to push open ,the sliding door lock wouldn't work ,the living room doors didn't lock ,and the furniture was uncomfortable. I had the single worst sleep ever ,and I've slept in my car once. I have nothing good to say about the place ,and I will never go here again.

Took a tour of ocean east today and the repairs are progressing nicely. Very impressed with the progress being done with the destruction caused by 2 hurricanes and 2 tropical storms afterwards. Americano and the maverick are still closed and no one working on them

Location is beautiful! Right along the beach, with an expansive view of the ocean. They have a nice pool out back on the way to the ocean and a neat little Koi pond. The rooms are barely acceptable. Like every single high rise condo along Florida beaches it's easy to tell this building is old and old fashioned. The furniture is hard fabric covered furniture with wear marks from other guests using them so much. I can see 2 or 3+ layers of wallpaper lining the walls. All the furniture looks like it was made in the 1970's or 1980's. The a/c vents are covered in dust and filth, probably original to the building. The halls look old and worn out, the metal rails on balcony's looks original and repainted many times. Now the appliances are very nice. They have been upgraded recently and work and look attractive. The TV and cable is great! Decent sized flat screen TV with a DVD player and plenty of channels. Overall, I give it an average rating - Not exceptional and not the worst. Pretty much exactly like all the other Florida condos, built MANY years ago and barely updated today.
