Really nice park, trails, and historical sites. Everything was well maintained and tidy. The pathway to the earth Lodge was cement so we could push a stroller to it (past that the whole path is no longer cement). The visitor center had a neat little display/museum area to wander through. We went to a lantern light tour which was a lot of fun with a knowledgeable staff teaching along the way. At each stop, someone spoke about the history of the area from a different point in time. Our favorite was the gentleman who's role was a soldier in the 137th colored regiment during the civil war.

Layout is good. It's an interesting fact filled history of the native Americans in this area. Good exercise is u walk the whole thing but have roads as well

Beautiful place with really cool historical artifacts. They go through the history of the Ocmulgee indians and the effects of the American people entering their areas. It is much smaller than I anticipated with fewer buildings than the website makes it seem. I would recommend visiting in the morning and leaving by lunch time to avoid crowds.
