The food was good and the service was okay. The waiter had (quite literally) snot hanging out of his nose when he came to the table the first time and stood there telling us the specials rather than excusing himself and going to blow his nose. GROSS! put a damper on the entire evening for me. It was a long list of specials, too. Sorry, but I couldn't get that image out of my head. He was generally unkempt but I could have overlooked that, but for the snot. Notice that it got 4 stars in spite of this. Very nice place. I need to go again to truly experience it with a different waiter. This place is too expensive to have a sloppy waiter. We were there in the second week of August 2017.

We came to Odeum last Sunday for brunch. My wife made reservations for 10:30am which I thought was a little early but this turned out to be a good thing as quite a few other groups showed up right after us. By about 11am the place was pretty packed. We decided to sit on the patio as it was a beautiful day and the restaurant was a little warm inside. I ordered the Crab Eggs Benedict and the wife had the Fried Chicken Benedict. Both dishes came with potatoes and a small salad. The dishes were both very good. The crab cakes on my dish were great. Just the right amount of crab to breading. The service was good although I did have to wait a bit for a refill on my water, which is surprising as they seem to have plenty of staff. I constantly saw waiters and bussers walk by. So why the 2-star rating? Well for some reason my credit card was charged twice for the meal with 2 different amounts, (one for $40 and one for $60). I called the restaurant yesterday and was told that their was an error but that the second charge should drop off. Three days later the charges are still there. They took my number down and said that a manager would call me at 5pm when he got in. As of 8:30pm yesterday I had not received a call. I called the restaurant again and got the answering machine. I still have no resolution to this issue. Where is my money Odeum?!?!?

Food, ambiance and service were all great. Not sure what to expect originally but had a fantastic meal.

The crusted salmon was ok, the chicken with risotto was delicious! Chocolate cake was yummy! A little pricey.

Craft cocktails, an extensive wine cellar and fantastic food make this a favorite stop. Try the grilled octopus.
