Sinaloa Cafe

About

We opened as “Club Sinaloa” in 1960 as a dance club and bar. Our parents, Adolfo & Mary Peña, never dreamed it would turn into a family tradition lasting over 50 years.

Story

Our Mexican restaurant is casual, family oriented dining. We've been in business in Morgan Hill, CA for over 50 years.

Sinaloa is amazing as long as you get the shredded beef tacos. Those are absolutely stellar. Everything else I've tried is good but not great. The restaurant was sold a while back and they attempted to change the menu. Needless to say I'm glad they went back to some of the original Sinaloa staples. Its what keeps us coming back.

Worth giving it a try! Tortilla chicken soup is delicious! Service was great!

Tasty food. Their prices seem high for the lack of ambience (its spartan). The margaritas de la casa were too sweet and not strong. Veggie fajitas were delicious and sufficient for two of us to split. The guac was very good. Bottomless chips and salsa is always appreciated and their black beans are fantastic... Bonus star for excellent service. Very friendly and attentive.

Excellent food! Service was slow at 4:15pm. Kitchen was the hold up. Wait staff was great.

The food I had was okay. Nothing particularly spectacular about it. Tasted similar to Chipotle, but with more expense added since it came with rice and beans on the side. The restaurant advertises itself as a fusion restaurant, but I don't know how that affects their more traditional dishes. I saw that they had food with pasta, which wasn't interested in trying, but it might've been good. Service itself was fine.
