Odyssey Family Counseling Center’s mission is to provide high quality, professional mental health and substance abuse counseling and prevention services.

Story

Odyssey Family Counseling Center is a community-based nonprofit organization that provides mental health and substance abuse treatment as well as prevention and education services to individuals and families. We serve all age groups, from children as young as three years old to seniors over 65, and people from all cultures and backgrounds.

Established in 1973, Odyssey has been in continuous operation serving the greater Atlanta area for over 42 years. From the beginning, Odyssey has specialized in counseling for families, as well as individuals.

Over four decades we have expanded to treat a broad range of mental health challenges resulting from trauma, domestic violence, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, relationship issues, alcohol and drug addiction, and much more.

Our licensed therapists specialize in a wide variety of mental health concerns and represent a range of disciplines including counseling, social work, psychology, and marriage and family therapy. Most importantly, they are all dedicated to the population we serve.
