I love this place. I love sushi and I used to have this favorite spot with my family because I was more familiar with their menu, but they have changed the quality of the food. Oishi is real close to our house and it really serves quality menu. It is family owned like a lot of Asian restaurants and I’m all about giving support to local businesses. The place is small but the ambiance gives out a romantic intimate setting. Not too crowded so your sure to enjoy a nice evening or even just out for lunch. They have really reasonable and affordable prices. I always order from here and my husband not in the picture always buys me sushi from here when I’m upset. Cheers me up all the time.

the design of the restaurant is very nice. this would be a great place to bring your significant other to. the sushi is fantastic with the fresh ingredients they use spicy crab roll is my favorite.they do not serve alcohol,but they are byob friendly.if you are in the area i recommended you give this place a try.

Went there and picked up food for my wife and I.  Both of us had filet hibachi meals to go. The steak was very good, cooked well, veggies also good, rice was over cooked and on the mushy side.  The shrimp also had a very odd taste to them.  Everything was very bland and lacked flavor.  I ended up re-cooking it in Teriyaki sauce.  Most of it was good at that point but what’s the point of eatting out only to re-cook your food?  Very disappointed for over $100.

Absolutely hands down some of the best food in the Lehigh Valley.  Dietary restrictions: I&#39;m type 2 diabetic....plenty on the menu.

Lovely calm quiet atmosphere. Fantastic food. Both the sushi/sashimi entrees and their hibachi style entrees were filling and well worth the price.

Best sushi in Allentown! Fish is always fresh. They have amazing special rolls! Our favorites are the volcano roll, the Valentine, and the snow white. Good service and very fast!

Food was horrible!!! Ordered the tempura chicken with vegetables, brown rice and miso soup. First of all the chicken was disgusting, Yuck!!! It was so greasy. The taste of old cooking oil left a bad taste in my mouth i couldn't eat it. I literally called the waitress over and asked her to remove the whole entire meal off the table. She asked if there was a problem I stated the food is no good. Honest opinion!!! She got   The miso soup was disgusting, OMG!!!! tasted like dirt nasty. The brown rice was hard and had no flavor. Leftover rice they heat up in the microwave. First time and last time they'll see my face. How dare ya give it a 5 star rating unbelievable. Ya don't know what real food taste like. Stay away from that establishment.....

This was our first time coming here and we ordered hibachi thinking it might be good. We tried the soup and salad it was nasty, the salad dressing was nasty so we didn’t stick around to eat the hibachi. I wouldn’t waste my money here ever again honestly.

Overlooked! Definitely fresh sushi.  And they also offer FRIED ICE CREAM!!! TOTALLY ADDICTIVE!!
