This place is the best place I have ever eaten at! Their service is impeccable, and they always get the food cooked quickly and it always tastes amazing. They never fail to fill up our drinks as soon as they are running low and efficiently greet us as we arrive and as we exit! Love this place. We go there quite frequently The atmosphere is always good. The food is very fresh and cooked quickly and served hot. The show that the Cooks put on are entertaining and funny. We go at least 3 times a month. Maybe more. I would highly recommend joining. And they have special sushi deals on certain days that are excellent. Have a good day enjoy Parking: Plenty of parking spots.
Great location next to Provino Restaurant & AMC Movie Theatre. Nice service and atmosphere. Fun to watch the chef doing quick Hibachi cooking ~ But food is so so ~ too much soy sauce added to each meal we ordered.Food: 3/5

My wife and I love this place. We've been dining there about twice a month for over seven years and have never been disappointed. I learned to love sushi in 1979 when I live in Los Angeles – and there is a hell of a lot of good sushi in LA, so I know my sushi. And since then I've had sushi from coast to coast, and I can tell you that Okinawa has great sushi at very reasonable prices. The service at Okinawa is friendly, warm and very attentive. We always sit at the sushi bar, but we keep threatening to sit at one of the Hibachi grill tables because we always see the customers there having so much fun. If you are there for sushi, you'll meet Kevin who is the sushi chef. He is young and incredibly creative. Or if you are there on a night when Kevin is off and Andy is the chef, you will be equally impressed. There are great sushi suggestions on the menu, but if you really want an extraordinary experience, just tell Kevin what kind of fish you like and ask him to create something special for you. You will be thrilled – as we always are. See [below] for a few photos of some of Kevin's creations for us. SPECIAL THINGS TO ASK FOR: Salmon bellies and Yellowtail bellies. The salmon is from Scotland and always wonderful. You should also try the Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno. Awesome! We're on our way there tonight and as always, we can't wait!
Went here for the first time today. When they gave me my check, there was a questionaire / flyer included. At the top it said that if you fill out your birthday information that you will receive a $10.00 gift card. I asked my server to confirm this before I filled it out and he said yes, I would receive a $10 gift card. After I gave it to him, some other person came to me and said "No, we put this in a random drawing". I told him that's not what it says on the flyer AND I confirmed it with my server before I filled it out. *Update 10/11/24* - I just thought I would update this review to respond to the owners comment that said "We want to assure you that if the form was filled out with your birthday information, a $10 gift card will indeed be sent out to you in the mail as stated on the flyer". My review was 7 months ago, my birthday was 3 months ago, and I have yet to see that gift card.
Best place for Hibachi! We came in right before closing, and they were so kind to let us stay to enjoy some delicious hibachi. Our cook didn't hesitate to entertain us with some jokes and tricks.
