What a great place to camp and visit!  Beautiful Cummings Falls State Park & great friendly Tennessee hospitality.    We stumbled upon Old Mill Camp & general store while Total Eclipse hunting.  Ended up camping two nights here-exploring the water falls & enjoying Cookeville, TN & Tennessee Tech. Of course the eclipse was an awe inspiring event.  ...would stay longer but had to get back home to the Hudson Valley New York .

We are currently traveling from Wisconsin, camping here on one of their tent sites. And let me just say, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE, I don't want to leave! The staff is phenomenal. And the atmosphere is fun, rustic, and inviting. 
As far as the camp site go they have everything you would need, LITERALLY. You can even rent a tent. Which we did not, but they are nice, new, clean, and set up for you, if you which to go that route. Each site has a fire pit, grill, and picnic table which was a nice surprise. Their bath house is still in construction but have a conveniently located plumbed bathroom right outside the general store. 
Speaking of the general store, WOW! Is all I have to say. It's amazing in there. Lots of homemade goodies, cute gifts, and sovereigns, snacks and miscellaneous items you may have forgotten to pack from home. Their sandwiches and ice cream were perfect after hiking to Waterfall, conveniently located right across the road! Staff was extremely nice and helpful with recommendations for our next stop in Tennessee. And I personally LOVED how they decorated.
I 100% recommend at least stopping here if you plan on going to visit the waterfall in the Blackburn Fork Creek. You will not be disappointed!

Nice friendly place to get a sandwich, ice cream, and drink. We stopped here after hiking down to Cummins Falls. Campground looks nice.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for ice cream and sandwiches. The food was great and the people were awesome!
