Dr. Jones is the BEST ever!! He takes the time to explain any procedure and problems. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. You will always know what the charges are and what the insurance covers or not. If you want a great dental "family" this is the place!

Whoever the Doctors receptionist is, she is a pain in the butt. I tried twice to get an appointment there just for a consultation and twice I hung up the phone in tears because she made it complicated. first, it has been over a year since I have had x-rays. I called because I had a serious tooth ache pain and I was not happy with my old dentist. I was told by my old dentist that I needed a cap replaced on my root canal I had down 11 years ago, I was told by the receptionist that the Doctor would not fix/touch anyone else's work. Its been in there for 11 years, and I am 37 years old, there's a lot of old work in my mouth. But I digress. the next time I called I said that I wanted a consultation  for tooth ache pain. The receptionist asked why I had called them. I said I wasn't happy with my old dentist and I heard such good things about Dr. Jones, that I thought it would be good to go to that office. The receptionist then told me that I would have to go to my old dentist and get my x-rays. I had x-rays taken over a year ago, so they would be old. When I asked her why they need my old x-rays, I was told so I don't get any surprises on being told what was wrong with my teeth. What???? I have a tooth ache im going to be surprised im sure. you don't go to the Doctor knowing something is wrong, you have to be told. either way you will be surprised. but again, I digress. So further in the conversation I asked if the Doctor was capable of taking new x-rays, she said yes but the Doctor still would want to see my old x-rays. Then she told me that they may not even take my insurance, I may have to pay out of pocket WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME WHAT KIND OF INSURANCE I HAVE!!!! So I told her what insurance I have and she said "oh yea, we do accept that". So, long story short I hung up on her crying, and I am still in pain. Worst receptionist ever!!!!! I have heard such great stories about Dr. Jones, but I will never be able to go to his office, because I cant even get an appointment.

Saw me on very very short notice and went completely above and beyond expectations. I would suggest you go NO WHERE else besides old towne dental In Tehachapi. Dr jones extended his day to fit me in and stabilize the worst toothache I've ever had. The other person who I talked to was Linda and went completely past my expectations, even called me the next day to make sure I was feeling alright. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Excellent place of business.

Best dental experience I've had in a long time.  Dr. Jones is thoughtful in that he wants to do the best job he can without jumping to the most expensive options first.  Very professional and caring.

I explained to the technicians and dentist at Old Towne about my past with dentists and how I experienced a lot of pain in the past. Dr. Jones and the Old Towne Dental team took the extra step to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire duration of the appointment.
