I normally don't write reviews as it's my belief to allow people to make up their own minds on where they choose to take their business. That being said, I feel compelled to voice my opinion about Dr. Ryan Kerr DDS. My family and I love Dr. Kerr and his staff. Traditionally, dental offices are not known for being enjoyable places to visit but Dr. Kerr's office is different. As soon as you walk in the front door you feel a level of comfort that is second to none. I contribute the comfort of Dr. Kerr's office to his staff, who are all very engaging, and talk to you as though they've known you for years. Another observation I made during my last visit, and the reason I decided to write this review, is the cleanliness of Dr. Kerr's office. From the waiting room to the examination rooms and everything in between, the office is immaculate. If I could sum up Dr. Kerr's office I would say it is big city, methods, equipment and technology with a small town family feel.

The normal way I describe going to the dentist is torture. My experience with Ryan was actually enjoyable! Normally I feel like I'm going to bleed out from my mouth being stabbed so many times during teeth cleanings at other dentists. At Ryan's I was poked maybe twice and overall the cleaning actually felt good! The lady who cleaned my teeth was great to talk to, and she was genuinely concerned about not hurting me whereas other places just cleaned my teeth. Regardless of the amount of pain they caused. And when Ryan came in to check on how the cleaning was going he was incredibly nice and friendly. And with the small amount of cleaning he did he was concerned about not hurting me and he seemed actually concerned about how I was doing! Overall the experience was great and I'd recommend this dentist to anyone who is tired of being tortured!

Love Dentist Kerr and his entire staff! I recommend to anyone in the area. They worked with me on scheduling and last minute filling fixes. I wish I could give 10 out of 10. Looking forward to my next cleaning and dental checkup.

Ryan mislead me into taking two mornings off work for the "deep cleanings" because "insurance purposes". I spoke with a representative of my insurance after the procedures, and it would have been billed the same if they consolidated the procedures into one day. The "deep cleanings" were overvalued, about 20-25 min a day and they billed ~$300 per day, with only using a dental pick, and no anesthetics. After all this and the insurance sent the EOB (explanation of benefits) I compared charges, and Kerr's office tried to overcharge me $140. When I visited to voice my concerns, they reduced the bill by the $140, but did not make me feel like a valued customer regarding my above listed concerns.

In the past I have had good and bad dentists. By far, Dr. Kerr is one of the best I have dealt with. I now look forward to my visits to the dentist.
