Perfect for little and big kids. There's a bathroom that is pretty clean as well but it's closed from December to March 1st so keep that in mind during that time of the year.

I like the park for ingress and Pokemon, but I also feel like it's a very open park that is safe. I feel like parents don't need to worry about much other than the pretty big road that runs next to it (78).

Fun little park with good playground equipment and shopping or browsing experience of downtown nearby.  Fun family walking experience.

Chaperoned for my daughter's field trip.  Very neat and informative. The people who reenact are spot on and very knowledgeable. Clean facilities throughout.  Be prepared to walk a lot! Hidden spot, so make sure you know where you are going. GPS found it fine.

I love taking my family here! It's a great place to stop and let my kids play while we're walking around downtown and shopping on Ballard. There are several events held here every year, from the fantastic Bluegrass on Ballard to Boo on Ballard around Halloween.
