I loved the shop, it was my first time and I had Kaycee, she was great!  I just moved here from Adam Diego and I had been going to my same heart dresser for over 10 years so I was abbot nervous to try someone new; but Kaycee and all of the ladies there made me feel so welcomed and at ease and they did an AMAZING job!  I will definitely be going back:)

When i arrived i wasnt greeted or acknowledged. Went in for a trim and came out with a different haircut. I was told to sit in a chair before shampooing and sat down and the bottom of the chair collapsed and slipped out from under me. This was after I was told that the chair reclines and to relax because I wouldn't fall. I have a bob haircut and I intentionally had it longer in the front because I didn't want it short at all in the front which is what I told her before she took the scissors to my head. Come to find she cut all these layers around my face so my haircut looks ridiculous. I have a side bang that I like just above my eyes. It was cut way short and looks like a 4 year old cut my bangs. Never has any hair stylist asked me to put a Bobbie pin in my hair to retrain my bangs. There are all these sharp cuts that were not blended in and it's very choppy. My friends were laughing when they saw my bangs and asked me if I cut my hair myself.  Its upsetting I grew my hair out for years to get the long layers in the front and now I lost the sassy look I had and look like a child. My stylist showed me the shampoo and conditioner she recommended and i said oh ok thanks. She grabbed them and brought them to the counter when I didn't agree to buy them ($28 a piece) told the cashier i didn't want them. I chose this place based on reviews, but will not be returning.

I visited the salon for the first time over the weekend. I loved how charming the atmosphere was. Kaycee did an excellent job on getting my hair lighter! I will definitely be coming back!

I stumbled upon On The Avenue as I was searching for a place to get my hair and make up done for my bridal portraits. I LOVE the work Marybel and Hannah did! They are not only very talented but also made the whole experience enjoyable. The day of my wedding I returned and had them do the same hair and make up (again, exactly what I wanted - I had no stress about how it would turn out or hold up). 8 of my bridesmaids and my mom and mother-in-law had services that morning as well and everyone looked beautiful! The salon was a blast to hang out in, they let us all get dressed there and encouraged us to bring in snacks and they provided all the drinks we wanted. It was the best way to kick off a day of celebration. Thanks for making our wedding day so special, fun, and stress-free!
