Update 8/7/17: Still overpriced, still unfriendly and very inconsistent on quality of items they will/wont take. I love shopping consignment clothes for my kids! It's usually a great way to save money, and since kids grow so fast, I sure appreciate being able to save money I shop at Once Upon a Child often, and I've noticed that their prices on used clothing is usually only on average $.50 cents cheaper per item, then brand new clothes at Target and Old Navy. Once Upon a Child over prices their items. Why buy used clothes for 50 cents cheaper than brand new clothes?! Unfortunately, that is not the only complaint I have with that store. I find their customer service to be very poor. I have not, in the many times I've been there had a friendly employee help me. I don't expect them to be all chatty, and super nice, but I do think they need to treat their customers in a way that makes them feel appreciated, not unwelcome. Even the owner has treated me (and others in line ahead of me) poorly. I will be taking my business to the other consignment shop in town. I'll come back to this store from time to time to see if any of this has improved. I'd love to shop here, but I don't care for the bad attitudes and overpriced used clothes.

I'm never this harsh with my reviews, so these guys definitely earned it. This particular OUAC is nothing more than an overpriced, second-hand, Walmart that sells clothes that are FAR from "gently used". I've been in a few times looking to buy nice "gently used, name brand clothes" and have literally left empty-handed every time. I have zero problem buying Walmart clothing, but paying what OUAC asks for the used Walmart specials? I'll just skip the "gently" used and go to Walmart to get the stuff new. One time I went in and was sifting through the pajamas... UGH! There was a subtle, but very noticeable, smell of urine on a few pajama sets!! I was so disgusted I left immediately! After these experiences I thought I'd better stick to just selling there. Well, THAT is an even bigger joke! Lets refer back to their "gently used, name brand clothing"...PA-LEASE! The most recent trip, a few weeks ago, consisted of an entire tote of a Ju-Ju-Be diaper bag (practically brand new), Justice, Gymboree, Crazy 8 and Old Navy clothing, with a couple of Target items, some of which were purchased FROM OUAC. They took 3, count them THREE items of clothing! I'm talking nearly new, name brand stuff, and they snubbed all but 3 things! I giggled politely when she told me what they accepted and reminded her it was all nice, name brand items, STILL IN SEASON as they were just purchased recently and my daughter simply outgrew them quickly. I also explained I had purchased some of those items FROM THEM. She scoffed and said that they were probably clearance items that they shouldn't have purchased in the first place. SERIOUSLY?!! Fine way to do business. Reading other reviews, it's clear their customer service is nothing but rude. I've lived in a few different areas/states with OUAC and NEVER have I dealt with this. So, much applause to the Twin Falls store for accomplishing something that none of the other OUAC stores have; bravo on running your overpriced, second-hand Walmart. Bravo. SMH.

I love the idea of this place. Sometimes its annoying when you go to sell some stuff and you don't understand why they won't take it. All they tell you is its either too worn, not their style, or to old. Yet you never wore it and bought from them lol. They have always been very kind. I feel some of their things are priced to high for used items but once they have a sell its more worth it. It makes it nice to be able to trade our old clothes for "new" ones

Their prices are only a few cents cheaper than buying them brand new, I've decided just to buy clothes on sale or from the clearance rack and BRAND NEW. Also customer service is terrible, was told someone will be with me, then was told just to throw my stuff on the counter.

This is a great place to get just about anything you need for children. Great prices. They accept used children's clothing, shoes, etc.
