The Orange County Islamic Foundation (OCIF) was established in 1996 as a non-profit Islamic organization to provide the Religious, Educational, and Social services to the Muslim Community of Mission Viejo and neighboring South Orange County cities.

Nice and clean but very unrespectfull. They lock the mesjit during a day time. As i know mesjit should be open for public all the time, when you knock the door the women opens and asks "how can i help you" then you need to explain and ask for pray. Dueing wudu they coming and checking where and how you do your wudu, it is very uncomfortable. If you have kids never go to there! Kids can not laught or walk or talk. One of the other women told me why i bring my kids to there and what a mother you are if you cant control them? I was very upset. I left mesjit on tear 😢

Nice Mosque, but was very disturbed to find out that a fee is charged for Iftar(breaking of fast during month of Ramadan) food. This is the first time that I know or anyone that I know has come across such a practice of charging worshippers for Iftar food. It is not even heard of in my country Uganda or even in any poor country. In a poor location or country, it is understandable but not in a place where worshippers regular vehicle is a Mercedes, BMW and Lexus. The management need to read the Hadith(sayings of Prophet Mohammed PBUH) on charity during the month of Ramadan. If the management knows the Hadith, then they are very ignorant believing perhaps it is fine in their locality. The management can learn from Masjids in the poor areas of US on how Iftar food is organized.
