Jason is very professional and hires those who are clearly, highly-qualified instructors. As an adult having taken on lessons, I understand that I present unique challenges to my teacher, but she is so accommodating. I have been working with Helen for about a year now, and many have commented about how much I have improved (as it turns out, my neighbors can hear me!). I very much look forward to her visits and love when she fills my home with her beautiful violin playing. 
Jason and Helen are always available to help in any way possible, are easy to contact, and I would say that these lessons are a great value. Additionally, having the teacher come to my home is a huge advantage. My dog loves when she comes to visit!

My kids, ages 8 and 10 are both taking lessons with Soundscape instructors. My daughter (8) has been taking voice lessons with Brianna. Brianna is fun, outgoing, and very patient. My daughter loves the lessons and is doing great. My son (10) is taking piano lessons with Fred. My son was getting ready to quit lessons with his previous teacher but then when he started working with Fred, he gained a lot of confidence and his love for Piano was reignited. He's progressing really well and is eager to practice between lessons. In addition to the great teachers, Jason (the program coordinator) is very flexible, hands-on, and keeps in touch regularly to check on the kids' progress. I'm very happy with Soundscape and highly recommend both Brianna and Fred as teachers.

My daughter is thriving with her lessons through Jason's studio. My goal was to find an instructor to come to my house for piano and flute lessons. We have found the perfect fit with Katie for flute lessons and Sylvia for piano lessons. My daughter had been out of piano for three years and she needed specific directions and focused lessons for flute. Jason matched up these great instructors after evaluating her needs and goals. With some flute private lessons completed, my daughter has made great advancements in her band at school. Sylvia brought my daughter back up to speed in piano. She really likes her teachers and they are punctual and professional.

Whatever style you are looking for in  a teacher the owner Jason will find the fit for you. Usually the lessons are at your own home.  It's nice not to be driving all over town for lessons. My son started lessons with this studio last September and has really flourished. His current teachers are Sylvia and Fred. Sylvia teaches classical and Fred teaches piano improvisation/music theory. Their styles are opposite of each other. Sylvia expects more precision in timing which is what classical music demands, wherea with Fred he is more lax about timing and correct notes since he emphasize creativity over exactness. Both teachers are knowledgeable and have experience working with kids for awhile so I would recommend them.

After numerous research and trials my 9 year old and 12 year old love and enjoy their piano and vocal lessons. The most positive and current to todays music lessons. I highly recommend Soundscape Music studio and especially Fred Hallas.
