To say Mindy is wonderful is an understatement! I found I needed a custom mattress set for an antique bed and started my research and calls. Mindy was patient with my questions, assisted in selection based on what I was doing, and was honestly just so kind and enjoyable. I loved her so much I ordered from her even though she was a two hour drive from my home. A truly fantastic experience. Thank you, Mindy!
Best mattress buying experience! I’m very picky on the firmness of my mattress and this is perfect. Mindy quickly identified what I wanted and was able to make sure it was delivered on the day I needed. Huge bonus that she offers custom sizing. Will definitely be ordering here again!

The only way to choose a mattress is to buy from a trusted retailer. High quality mattresses, different models, toppers and accessories that helped complete my purchase. An honest consultation and great pricing is what i received. Love this family owned business. Highly recommend!
First off, I would like to say that there was a longish delay between when I received my mattress and when I am writing this review; I wanted to give it some time because sometimes you find that something you really liked initially doesn't seem so great after a while. Rest assured: This is a VERY comfortable mattress. I had inherited a 3/4 width bed from my grandmother. It came with an existing mattress and box spring and I was happy with it until... After 40+ years, it decided to poke a spring up into my back. The temporary fix was to flip the mattress, but the long term fix was to get a new mattress. Since 3/4 width is no longer a standard size, I needed to get a custom mattress made. Searching the web, I found Orange Mattress, which in addition to having good reviews, was actually in-state NJ and close enough to go visit to see/try the various options;, I ended up getting a horsehair mattress. The new mattress is very comfortable, but there are a few items that fall into the "I wish I had known" category. I thought I'd pass these along as an FYI: 1 Be aware that while I knew there would be some delay, it turned out to be 6 weeks between ordering and when the mattress was ready. Not unreasonable, but it would have been nice to have had a more concrete idea at the start. I imagine the time lag can wax or wane, depending on how busy things are where they are made. Just be aware. 2 This mattress is heavy. The old mattress I was replacing was a 6-inch depth on an 8-inch box spring. The bed is a 3/4 width, but since they don't make bedding that size any more, I have always used full size bedding; works, but things are a bit wide. i figured I'd take care of that by ordering an 8-inch mattress with a 6-inch box spring. I'm not sure if it was just the two extra inches or if it's the materials are just heavier, but the new mattress is heavy enough to make it a bit of a struggle to lift up to tuck things in when I change the bed. One plus, though: it's heavy enough that I doubt I can accidentally pull out the top sheet while sleeping, which I tended to do with the old mattress. 3 The bed frame is 74 inches long. I figured 2 inches gap total would be fine, so ordered a mattress and springs 72 inches long. It works, but an extra inch would make it easier to change the bed. Not fatal since the bedding fits; it's more a wish-I-had-known thing. And that's really about all I have to say. Since I am more-or-[ess local, Orange delivered the new mattress set, set it up in the bed frame, and took away the old mattress set. They were very professional. I can't speak to a delivery that isn't local. Bottom line: Would I use them again? Definitely.
Customer service was friendly, easily accessible and very willing to meet all of my concerns! The mattress was everything I hoped it would be! Firm but comfortable, and very cooling! I am totally happy with everything, and would recommend this company to anyone who asked me! Deb
We didn't realize how much we needed a new mattress until we met Orange Mattress and they listened to our concerns and sold us a mattress that far exceeded our expectations from the first night. We always wanted an adjustable bed but they were outside of our budget until again, we met Orange Mattress.
Mindy and her sheets arrived yesterday . We needed them custom made for my son’s bed who is 6”3 inches . She is very professional , efficient , and knowledgeable . This is the second time I order from her and I am very happy with the quality and her efficiency . Highly recommend her company .
Great service, great bedding! I needed a stable foundation for a vintage bed frame - old “full” which is only 48” wide not standard 54”, and a 4” height to just clear bed rails. No problem for Orange! 4 days from order to truck delivery, can’t beat that! See photo - foundation peeking up over bed rails and supporting standard full size 8” tall mattress modestly wider but itself supported by tops of side rails. If you’re looking at a vintage-y full frame, you need these guys!
For starters, I have a complicated English four poster bed. Cut corners etc. so I researched a custom mattress company and zero’d in on Orange. We went there and met Mindy. And Mindy was and is so cool. Apparently her grandparents started the business. We selected a mattress and gave Mindy the dimensions and now five weeks later we’re sleeping like new born lambs on our new mattress. Thank you Mindy Segal.
