Every thing I have ever gone here for in 13 year's has been here. One time I went to buy unsalted peanuts for the neighborhood squirrels and they were out,but 2 days later they were back in stock. One time. 13 years. I lived around the corner, walking distance. The prices have always been reasonable, you can get spray paint for 3 bucks, a calendar for free.

I interacted with Michael in the Paint department who was very helpful. We talked about this Weatherwash wood stain which gives a vintage grey look. Great selection, friendly employees.

I love coming here; they have a great selection and variety of just about any tool, chemical, detergent, equipment, gardening supply, etc. that you could ever need! They also have really great, friendly staff that didn't mind when I had to bring my bike in the store because I forgot my lock. I was going to give five stars, but there seems to be a chronic under-stocking issue; there's been more than one occasion where I went in and the item I wanted to buy and several others like it were out of stock. Otherwise, though I like everything about OSH and much prefer it to places like Home Depot or Ace!

It was a big disappointment when we went to the OSH at Berkeley during the tax free weekend. I was planning on purchase 4 or 5 bird feeders. The store were disorganized. Products were line up behind wrong price tags. Many assosciates but doesn't seems to have desire to help a customer who has young child begging to made a bird feeder purchase. Poor people management. I would not recommend other mothers shop here.
